Students and Faculty may receive a 404 Error message when opening grade comments with attachments. Students will be able to view comments, however, opening the attachment will throw this error. Sending the attachment as an email is the best work around. Blackboard hopes to resolve this issue in a future release.

    Your CRN / Course ID
To identify your individual course, a five-digit Course Reference Number (CRN) is assigned to each course. Each Blackboard course has a unique course ID that includes the five-digit course reference number (CRN) also visible in MyCU and Banner. In addition to the CRN, the Course ID also contains identifying information on the year and term the course was taught. For most technical support issues, the Course ID (or CRN) is required information. Learn how to quickly gather this information within Blackboard in this resource.

At the top of the course menu, you will see the course title and a series of numbers followed by -cup.

This series of numbers is your Course ID.
If you cannot get access to Blackboard for your CRN, you can login to MyCU and obtain your CRN from your registration information.
